Explain about Generics in C#.NET?

Generics permit classes, structs, interfaces, delegates and methods to be parameterized by the types of data that they can store and manipulate. Rather than forcing conversions to and from object, instances of stack<T> accept the type for which they are created and store data of that type without conversion.

Example:
public class Slightbook<T>
{
   T[] interviewQuestions;
   int count;

   public void Push(T item)
   {

   }

   public T Pop()
   {

   }
}

Slightbook <int> Slightbook = new SLightbook<int>{};
Slightbook.Push(3);
int x = Slightbook.Pop();
